Photography from February 2020 (and beyond)

I got a new camera. And a new book. But most importantly, I took a lot of photos. See below.

Thanksgiving at my downtown apartment was great! I had Jordan and America, Mel and Alex, Nathan and Jonathan.

For Christmas I got myself an Instant Pot and let me tell you it changed my life. Everyday I make delicious food: baked potatoes, beans, apple crisp, past and sauce, oatmeal, yams and rice. It truly is instant.

Reading is a hobby of mine, but I haven't read much fiction. Thankfully, this book, gifted to me through secret Santa, is fantastic. Still only near the beginning.

We launched the My H-E-B Android app, and it did not disappoint. Go to any store and you'll see signs both big and small advertising the app. Way to go!

But that wasn't before a lot of work. Here we are about to submit the initial app for approval.

For the big game we had a watch party that turned into a all-hands-on-deck bridge. Things didn't go as planned. There was no global awareness of on-prem DDoS mitigation mechanisms.

On the bridge. went down for 30 minutes, but the mobile apps were down a total of 40 minutes.

I got a Pixelbook Go, best decision ever. I always say that, but no, this is true. Reviewed on the website.
